Festival revives Mexican culture at Montecasino
Locals evoke the spirit of Mexico in a festival intended to mark World of Tequila Month at Montecasino.
The fear of missing out got Fourways residents to reserve their seats at the Festival de Mexico at Montecasino on Saturday, July 29. This was to close off July as World Tequila Month with an experience like no other.
Locals got to relish some glasses of Tequila while learning about its history and Mexican culture. “This is the drink that is only one export from Mexico’s cultural mosaic that has brought people together in unity and enriched lives,” said Palesa Mahlodi, the public relations officer of the event.
