Junxion Gymnastics Fourways, a renowned gymnastics club, has emerged victorious in their category at the prestigious Gymstars 38th International Women’s Gymnastics Competition held in Malta. The team, consisting of Rachel Webb, Masingitha Mpapele, Erin Curtis, and Madison Peche, showcased exceptional talent and dedication throughout the event, triumphing over 17 other international teams from various countries.

The Gymstars International Competition, known for its high level of competition and global participation, attracted gymnastics clubs from across the world. Junxion Gymnastics Fourways faced formidable opponents, including teams from Jamaica, the United States, Belgium, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Nigeria. The intense competition fostered an environment of skill, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among the athletes.

The owner of Junxion Gymnastics and former Protea Coach Nikki Stubbs said, “As the owner of Junxion Gymnastics I am humbled and so grateful that our gymnastics club was invited to join this prestigious to compete against clubs from around the world and just amazing to come first out of 18 teams. I am proud of the resilience, determination and quality of our team of girls. We hope this will be the start of many international competitions to come.”
