Steyn City adds a retail element to its flagship City Centre

Steyn City brought together South African celebrities, media personalities, and socialites at a Night Under the Stars to celebrate the new retail offerings.

The growing city keeps growing, and Steyn City has fast grown to be one of the best places to live in.
The thriving city brought together South African celebrities, media personalities, and socialites at Night Under the Stars to celebrate the new retail offerings.

The evening started with the unveiling of the work of sculptor Heidi Hadaway, a bronze bust of Steyn City visionary and founder, Douw Steyn. The bust was commissioned by The Gallery at Steyn City and unveiled by Douw’s wife, Carolyn Steyn, and Giuseppe Plumari, co-founder of Steyn City and deputy chair of Steyn City Properties.

Guests were stunned by performances from former Cirque du Soleil mime artist Daniel Buckland, Cathy del Mei, Cristina Rodrigues, and South African Music Awards winner Mi Casa.

The city’s retail offering now includes the Seattle Coffee Company, Paul’s Homemade Ice-Cream, and Café Del Sol. Le Creuset will be the latest addition in the next months, together with a gym, laundry service, and a cellular network provider.

“We have chosen our ever-evolving retail partners with great care to ensure that they reflect our values and are in line with the convenience and luxury which form the foundation of the Steyn City lifestyle. The official launch of our retail emporium marks an important milestone on our journey” said CEO of Steyn City Properties Steven Louw.
