Quiz night brings parents together to raise funds for matric dance

A fundraising event saw parents of Reddam House Helderfontein think hard for a fun quiz night.

Parents and staff at a local school put their thinking caps on for a good cause.

Reddam House Helderfontein hosted an inaugural quiz night to raise funds for the current Grade 12 group’s matric dance. Close to 10 teams got dressed according to their tables’ themes and decorated their table to win prizes.

Minky Gouws, head of matric at the school; thanked parents and teachers for their overwhelming support in raising funds for their learners.
Topics quizzed on the night included local sports, current affairs, international entertainment and general knowledge.

A team of staff members named Protea Power placed second and a team of parents Black Panther came first for the quiz night.
