Fourways Action Sports Arena a hub of interprovincial tournament matches

A fast-paced week of action netball showed the skills of various players from all over the country.

It was nothing but net for players in the recent senior interprovincial action netball tournament at Fourways Falcons Action Sports Arena.

Mixed, all-men and all-women teams from all parts of the country took part in the competition for a shot at the trophy and medals.
The North-Western Gauteng A-side ladies played a tight final against Western Province. The visitors were victorious with a score of 43 – 39.

Some other results included the following in the 7s tournament:

  • Bronze – Ladies B1
  • Silver – Ladies A
  • Silver – Men

In addition to bringing medals home, a number of players in the North-Western Gauteng teams were selected for the South African squad travelling to Australia for the Action Netball World Cup in August.
