East Rand resident is ready to impress in journalism internship at a local community newspaper

Tshwane University of Technology journalism student, Anelisa Samsam is ready to begin her new journey at Fourways Review.

Journalism student and now Fourways Review intern, Anelisa Samsam writes:

I aspire to do my best as I become the voice of the community and hope the Caxton internship will help improve my craft.

Having grown up on the East Rand, I am grateful to be granted the opportunity to intern at the Fourways Review. I am happy to be part of this newsroom, and I am here to learn and gain experience.

I will work hard for the community of Fourways by providing them with accurate news, gathered through trustworthy sources.

I am most interested in hard news and believe in delivering to the community what is really happening – they deserve to be informed about it.

It is inspiring to see that our communities didn’t lose the culture of reading newspapers. As we know, most people do things digitally but we still have readers who enjoy reading newspapers.

I will strive to give you accurate online news that will be current and balanced. I hope to become a part of the Fourways family.
