The Matriarch school has their sights set on getting the new year off to a great start

The Matriarch school based in Kyalami has a new staff member joining their team among a few new changes.

The Matriarch in Kyalami is looking forward to a number of changes in the school with the new year.
Principal at the school Layla Hernandez said the new year promises to bring a number of chances of continuous growth for the learners and staff.

“The Matriarch would like to officially welcome Tamryn Paulsen, and her staff, from Innova Occupational Therapy who will be operating from The Matriarch campus as of January this year,” she said.

Last year, Hernandez had looked back on a few highlights the school had celebrated, including the planting of many fruit trees for an Arbour Day project thanks to Fruitasia Fruit Trees, and all the assistance they have received from community members from other community projects run by the school.
She also thanked parents and staff for all their assistance and hard work in making The Matriarch the school that it currently is. She had a special message to former learners of the school as well.

“We would like to congratulate the following past learners: Mpho Phaka, on obtaining his pilot’s licence; Chiara Bjorkman, a qualified Montessori teacher who was been accepted into the New York Performing Arts Academy, and Liam Campbell who is currently in the USA as a pastry chef.

“We, at The Matriarch, feel that this year promises to be an extraordinary year filled with many opportunities and would like to take this opportunity to wish all our students and families, past, present and future, a wonderful festive season and a spectacular new year.”
