Outgoing Midrand Police spokesperson thanks Caxton
Constable Eliot Mabulane, outgoing Midrand Police spokesperson, also thanked all the Station Commanders for supporting execute his duties diligently.
Outgoing Midrand Police spokesperson Constable Eliot Mabulane bid farewell to residents as he spent his last day at the office on January 18.
Mabulane requested a transfer and was duly approved to be transferred to Bolobedu in his home province of Limpopo.
The Midrand Police Station covers various suburbs within the Fourways Review’s distribution area, including Glenferness, Kyalami and Barbeque Downs. Speaking on his last day at the office as the Midrand police spokesperson, he said in his seven years of experience in Midrand and four years as spokesperson, he enjoyed and appreciate the good relationship with the community.
“I believe that the next person to take over the role is going to excel and keep up the good relationship between the service and the community. My departure to another province comes as an opportunity to go do better by promoting the whole SAPS and keep building good standards of policing. I would love to take this opportunity to thank the Caxton community newspapers for a very good working relationship by exposing criminality and giving updates to the community about crime,” said Mabulane.
He also thanked all the station commanders for supporting and providing him with all the necessary resources to execute his duties.
“All commanders in the sub-district have really supported and believed in my ability to keep the image of the SAPS high,” said Mabulane.
At the moment his vacant position will be filled by Sergeant Thabiso Selowa on an acting basis.
