HeronBridge matriculants rejoice their 100% pass rate

Learners from HeronBridge College celebrated their last hoorah as school came to an end with the release of their matric results.

HeronBridge College matriculants gathered at the campus to collect their matric results with their parents and loved ones.

Executive head, Keith Wilke, top learner at the school, Isabella Campbell, and head of college, Garth Neilson.

The afternoon saw friends meet up once more and capture the moments of a special day.

Head of college at the school, Garth Neilson congratulated the new matriculants even with the challenges that were in their path.
“Some of your schooling career may have been unsettled by a pandemic, but your pursuit of academic excellence – through grit, determination and heart – has shone through,” he said.
“You have stood strong as a group and your 100% pass rate, and the outstanding achievements by individuals in your group, are reason for you all to celebrate. You truly have ended your journey at HeronBridge College with aplomb.”

Aside from their excellent 100% pass rate, some of the statistics of the school’s results were the following:

  • 100% tertiary exemption
  • 91% bachelor’s degree pass rate
  • Eight A aggregates
  • 26 B aggregates
  • 67% grade average

“May your tomorrows be filled with many more outstanding achievements like these. We are confident that you will play a major role in your chosen careers and in life after school. We thank God for walking this journey with you. We pray that He continues to be with you in your future,” concluded Neilson.

Tafara Chibanda and Kyle Melnick are now HeronBridge College matriculants.
