Local athlete selected to be part of Adidas X Thebe Magugu advert
FFA member believes that being part of Adidas advertisement will open more doors for her in the future.
My name is Beatrice Sbusiso Hadebe, a member of Fitness From Africa athletics club and a female middle distance runner from the township of Diepsloot.
I joined the club in 2016 which has become a second home for me and helped me become a better athlete.
With the help of my coach Precious Hlaka, I was recently selected to be one of the Adidas X Thebe Magugu advertisement models that will be the face of their new products.
Being part of a big brand such as Adidas means a lot to me and I believe that this gig will open more doors for me in the future.
This lifetime opportunity has proved to me that running isn’t about being in the field or road only but it can also make the impossible possible.
On September 17 this year, I will be representing Gauteng in the Athletics South Africa Cross Country Championships that will be held at Konka Sports Complex in Rustenburg.
I am hoping to make my province and my team proud once again and bring home more medals.
I would like to encourage other young athletes and my peers to hold on to their dreams and work hard every day towards achieving their goals.
