Fourways High School participates in volleyball festival

The whole team was sponsored with drawstring bags, warm-up T-shirts, and water before the festival.

Fourways High School’s girl’s volleyball team participated in the annual volleyball festival at the International School of South Africa (ISSA) in Mafikeng.

The school’s A and B team participated in the festival which took place from August 5 to 7 and was attended by over 10 schools from South Africa, Swaziland and Zimbabwe.

Beritam sponsored both teams with new drawstring bags, warm-up T-shirts and water as part of their Corporate Social Investment (CSI) project.
Fourways High School’s girl’s first team won the silver in the finals and the second team came in fifth place.

The ISSA volleyball festival was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and this was the first taking place in two years.

Beritam communications consultant Prenade Makumborenga said, “Kelsey Hayter, who is the manager of volleyball at Fourways High, was also grateful for this contribution.”

Beritam Projects CEO Michael Nyanyiwa added, “We are happy to have contributed towards Fourways High School’s volleyball journey and we are proud of the Girls’ team for winning the silver medal.”
