St Peter’s community step right up at carnival event

College Carnival at St Peter’s College saw several activities where teachers got involved in being voluntarily dunked in cold water and some sports challenges.

On July 30, St Peter’s College brought the carnival atmosphere akin to that of Gold Reef City to the community on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Organised by the school’s parent association, learners, teachers and parents of the school got to take part in several activities available such as splat the teacher with wet sponges and dunk toss challenges.

Parents also donated various items and prizes which contributed to the atmosphere of the day. Attendees were also treated to a sky-diving experience when members of Aerial Airfix landed on the school’s field. There was also a variety of food stalls and drinks for sale.

The Fourways Review journalist, Khomotso Makgabutlane was at the carnival to capture the fun had by teachers, parents and learners.
