Twelve suspects were arrested during police operations in Douglasdale on the weekend of January 14 to 16.
Captain Mpho Tshetlhane said the suspects would appear in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court.
“The suspects were arrested for different crimes ranging from common robbery, possession of marijuana, theft, dealing in liquor without a licence, possession of drugs, shoplifting, housebreaking and theft,” she said.
Community members with information that might assist police investigations were encouraged to phone Douglasdale police on 011 699 1333/1320 or 071 675 7358 or 08600 10111.
Alternatively, community members can use the MySAPSApp to provide tip-offs.
