Diepsloot station commander wishes community a safe 2022

DIEPSLOOT – Police collaboration with community members is the call from Diepsloot police looking to 2022.

Diepsloot Police Station wishes for the community to continue engaging with police in looking to the new year.

To end off the year, Station Commander Brigadier Koena Moichela wishes the community and members at the station a Merry Christmas, as well as a prosperous New Year.

As the police, it is our duty to ensure that people celebrate the festive season in a safe and secure environment. To this end, visibility will be heightened at our local malls in order to clamp down on criminal activities.
We urge residents to be extra vigilant when withdrawing money at ATMs and that they must desist from asking for help from strangers

For the new year, we would like to see more people coming forward to partner and collaborate with the police in the fight against crime.

Our communities are our eyes and ears – therefore; we urge them to provide us with information about suspects who are in possession of illegal firearms and addresses where drugs are sold and other criminal activities happening in the community.
