Ever heard of the saying, you are what you eat? Well, there is a day where individuals can became who they dress up as and that day is Halloween.

The Namaskar Wellness Hub opened its doors to the residents of Lonehill to celebrate Halloween. People roamed the area as their favourite musicians and characters in hopes of reconnecting with their childhood.
This year’s Halloween costumes were nothing short of amazing as people tapped into their creative side to grab the attention of the public. Costumes ranged from a ronin who tied the knot with Queen Cleopatra to a vampire pirate who befriended a vampire slayer.

Cofounder of the Namaskar Wellness Hub, Howard Burger, was all smiles when he saw people all dressed up in their special Halloween costumes. “All we wanted was an amazing turnout, great vibes and a space that lends itself to people letting go and being in the moment of togetherness.

“I think what we achieved on Saturday was exactly what it was meant to be. All I would do is amplify it, but not to the point that it loses its sense of originality and purpose.”
The event could not end without the announcement of the best Halloween costume which was won by mother and son, Angelic Desmons and Gabriel.

Angelic shared,”We don’t celebrate Halloween. What the day means for me is enjoying the time that you have with others, the wonderful food and dancing. I enjoyed the fact that there was no theme for the costumes, I could come out as anyone and anything. I expressed myself through my costume.”
