“I am very excited about being selected and can’t wait to play in the provincial tournament in early October. I started playing netball when I was eight years old in Grade 2, and I absolutely love it. I participated in the final round of the trials that took place at Hoërskool Florida on August 20 during our school holidays.”

Grace concluded, “I was first eligible for trials last year, at the U12 level but unfortunately after the second round of district trials, everything was stopped because of Covid. My dream is to be able to play as much netball as possible and to represent South Africa one day.”
