Association urges community to secure Lonehill

LONEHILL – Meet and greet with a security service provider to strengthen community relations is organised by Lonehill Residents Association.

Lonehill residents had the opportunity to talk to members of the security company who keep their area safe during a meet-and-greet on July 31.

Members of the Lonehill Residents Association joined Fidelity Security Group at Lonehill Shopping Centre for a show of force parade.
Marketing and communications manager at the association, Shelley Miller said the day was a success with all Covid-19 restrictions in place.

“It was well-received by the community and particularly comforting to see the back-up security we have considering the recent violent looting of communities and
retail outlets,” she said.

“This is the kind of backup response that we, the Lonehill community can expect from our service provider.”
Miller said the day’s events were scheduled for community members to get the chance to ask any questions about the various services offered by the association.

“We encourage all residents who are not contributors to the Lonehill Community Security to consider signing up for the Secure Lonehill Fund to increase our financial security sustainability which would help us to improve our Lonehill security infrastructure.”
Miller added that the association was hoping to have another meet and greet with the community in mid-September.
