Fourways High School learners successfully complete their first aid training

FOURWAYS– Selesnick said the 28 learners who were part of first aid training, underwent extensive first aid training to help during sports events and practice sessions at the school.

A group of learners at Fourways High School recently took part in first aid training held at the school to equip them with the necessary skills in case of an emergency.

Marketing manager at the school, Jodi Selesnick said 28 learners who were part of first aid training, underwent an extensive first aid programme.

“The first aid level 1 and 2 learners training was done as part of our extra-curricular sport first aid. The learners who will join the emergency team are required to do their level 1 and 2 to be able to be qualified and help at sporting events and practices.

Selesnick congratulated the learners who successfully completed their training. “One of the greatest and most important areas of learning is in the field of first aid and emergency care. Our big thanks goes to Mrs Laura White who made it possible for us to empower our learners to get their ‘first aid on’.”
