Sandton CPF praised for their role following the arrest of three suspects in Paulshof

PAULSHOF– Xulu said one suspect was arrested in Paulshof while two others were arrested in Hillbrow.


Sandton police arrested three male suspects following a housebreaking in Paulshof on 9 June.

Sandton Police Station spokesperson Captain Bheki Xulu said one suspect was arrested on 10 June after members of the police found him in possession of stolen goods under the bridge next to a shopping centre in Paulshof while the two other suspects were found in Hillbrow.

“The three male suspects are facing multiple charges including housebreaking and theft, possession of the suspected stolen property, and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition following a housebreaking in the residential area of Paulshof on Wednesday, 9 June,” Xulu added.

He said the suspect arrested under the bridge was in possession of a flat-screen television and stolen items of clothing.

“The investigation team attached to Sandton Police Station continued with the investigation and two more suspects were traced and they were arrested in Hillbrow.

The firearm, ammunition and other stolen items taken during the burglary were found in their possession.”

Xulu said station management had applauded Sandton CPF and Securezza Security for their role that led to the arrest of the three suspects and urged members of the community to report any criminal activities or any suspicious activity to Crime Stop on 08600 10111, Sandton police on 011 722 4200 or via the My SAPS app.
