On 15 May, Sibambisene provided 400 warm, tasty meals of canned fish with rice, and bread with soup to the community of Diepsloot. They also provided children with Easter egg treats.

“As Sibambisene Foundation, we have been doing a lot of great work for the community of Gauteng for the past four years,” said Linda Mbatha secretary-general of Sibambisene Foundation.

The foundation also extended its gratitude to the Angel Network and the South African Jewish Board of Deputies (SAJBD) for their continued support towards the NPO and for sponsoring the feeding scheme programme.

Sibambisene put out a plea for more sponsors to help them continue supporting the less fortunate. “We wish for this programme to be an everyday thing and not just a week, should we get the strength and support from our beautiful donors,” concluded Mbatha.
