New book aims to help unlock entrepreneurial potential

SANDTON — 'Mind Your Own Business' has provided a platform for Letcher to share what she has learned along the journey.

The entrepreneurial journey involves being a big risk-taker, a visionary, a leader and essentially a superhero all rolled into one.

This is according to author and businesswoman Nevi Letcher who, on 1 May, launched her ultimate business handbook Mind Your Own Business.

In the book, Letcher provides detailed lessons, exercises and examples about the ins and outs about starting and running a business.

As someone who worked her way up the corporate ladder, spending more that 20 years in the corporate world, Letcher took a leap of faith and invested in her own personal development. Today she runs a successful marketing and events agency based in Johannesburg.

Mind Your Own Business has provided a platform for Letcher to share what she has learned along the journey and how she managed to implement strategies that saw her business skyrocket.

The book includes 12 lessons for building a sustainable business, lessons which Letcher believes potential entrepreneurs and business owners should take into consideration.

“These lessons include implementing rewards based on action and not intention, embracing one’s fear and doing it anyway, the rise and fall of business relationships as well as the importance of being a dreamer and matching your vision with reality,” Letcher said.

She added that these were ultimately the secrets and lessons which she unlocked in the school of hard-knocks – secrets and lessons that no one really tells you about but they are in fact incredibly important to know.

“This book will change not only the way that you think about success, but if you apply its principles, it will help you

achieve a richer and more balanced lifestyle than you ever imagined possible,” concluded Letcher.
