one of the latest free exercise videos shared by Sunninghill physiotherapist Olivia Schiller, she and her husband Max teach us how to do the roll-up.

The pair have been posting free exercise videos online to help people exercise at home during the lockdown. The video starts with Max lying flat on his back on a workout mat, with his arms extended behind his head and legs kept straight.

“You are going to take a deep breath in from your tummy, then breathe out,” Olivia explained while Max demonstrated.”Then lift the arms up, tuck your chin to your chest, look down at your toes, roll all the way up, and extend your arms above your head [and] straighten your back.”

At this point, Max is making an inverted L-shape with his body perpendicular to the ground.”Now you are going to unroll, so untuck your pelvis and slowly roll. Feel each vertebrae, rolling down to the mat and extend the arms.” Max breathes in and out as he lies on his back, before doing the exercise again.
