Hirsch’s to host weekly workshop on wealth creation

FOURWAYS – The weekly workshops are hosted to provide entrepreneurs with advice.

Hirsch’s will be hosting another of its weekly entrepreneurial workshops on 28 August.

Each week the workshops are hosted by Margaret Hirsch, Hirsch’s executive director, and Marlene Powell, a business coach with Action Coach. They will be joined by Madeline Schubert to discuss wealth creation.

In last week’s workshop, Hirsch and Powell were joined by Deb Mun-Gavin, a psychologist and counsellor and Harry Welby-Cooke, the master franchisor of Action Coach South Africa to discuss how business owners could thrive through difficult periods. Powell said, “Work out what you need to do to grow. Budget to hit your targets. You always need to make a surplus. If you take away your surplus your health and the health of your business could suffer,” she said.

Mun-Gavin said that it is important to find a space in the day to be totally alone. “For your own sanity find some peace and quiet with no distractions, to think your thoughts. Our brains are at their most productive when they have white space. Also, to add to your productivity, surround yourself with people who bring out the best of you – and find things that bring you joy. It’s important to stay positive and on top of things right now.”

Welby-Cooke said that the entrepreneur’s workshops have been a great assistance to the business community during lockdown. “Tens of thousands of people have been impacted by these weekly workshops, both on Zoom and on Facebook Live and I would like to take this opportunity of applauding both Marlene and Margaret for giving up their time to hold them.”

The workshops are hosted every Friday from 11am to 12pm. Click here to join the workshop https://bit.ly/3aKwIiL
