PAULSHOF HILL – The Paulshof Hill Ratepayers Association has thanked community members for their support.

The acting chairperson of Paulshof Hill Ratepayers Association, John Middleton has thanked all loyal members of the association for their continued support and contributions.

The association recently completed a grass-cutting project in pursuit of a safer and cleaner environment.

“The Hill Association would like to thank all the loyal members for their continued support with their contributions and their security vigilance,” he said.”We would also like to encourage non-members to join the association. This will assist in bringing the fees for everyone down, or alternatively allow us to embark on more projects.”

He added that the association uses the contributed funds to pay additional security personnel patrolling in the neighbourhood. “We use these funds for the upkeep of the neighbourhood environment and to fund additional security patrolling. We also monitor an LPD [license plate detection] camera for dodgy number plates.”

Every winter, we clear a firebreak along the K60 for fire protection, but also because it improves visibility which in itself improves security. The security patrollers can see better while doing their rounds in the area.”
