Diepsloot Residents Association calls for donations for township residents in need

DIEPSLOOT – Help Diepsloot residents survive the lockdown by donating these much-needed items to the Diepsloot Residents Association.

The Diepsloot Residents Association is calling for donations that the organisation can then distribute to the needy in the community.

The organisation is looking for donations of food (both perishable fresh produce and non-perishable items), hand sanitiser, flu medication and blankets to keep residents warm as winter approaches. These donations will then be distributed to the community by members of the association.

“If we can get at least get about 50 good blankets for the elderly and some [hand] sanitisers as we have identified those in the community in need,” explained Akim Zulu, secretary for the association.
