Hirsch’s entrepreneurial workshops aim to assist small business owners

FOURWAYS – An interactive webinar hosted by Hirsch's and Marlene Powell Workshops will help guide entrepreneurs.

Two local entrepreneurs will be hosting a webinar on 8 May to assist small, medium and micro-sized business owners during these tough economic conditions.

The Hirsch’s and Marlene Powell Entrepreneurs Workshop Webinars will now take place every Friday between 11am and 12noon. The webinars have been of great assistance to entrepreneurs who don’t know where to turn. The previous workshop on 1 May revolved around the legal aspects of keeping one’s business on track at this time. Speakers included Powell, Margaret Hirsch, the executive director of Hirsch’s, and lawyers, Lisa de Beer and Angelique Schoeman who gave insightful talks on employment law and keeping in step with regulations regarding rental agreements and payments.

The webinar on 8 May will focus on getting back to basics on the financial, marketing and IT side, and will be anchored by Powell and Hirsch. It will include guest panellists, Erica Floweday, the director of Network Configurations and Niki Seberini. Floweday will give some important tips on working remotely and the latest news on the technology front that will help streamline the virtual business platform while Seberini will help educate people on how to eliminate negative thoughts and keep their minds strong in stressful times.

Hosts, Powell and Hirsch, would like this session to be as interactive as possible, so come armed with queries and issues that may be bothering you. Follow this link to register:
