Covid-19: President Ramaphosa to address the nation tonight

President Ramaphosa is expected to address the nation concerning additional economic and social relief measures.

President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to address the nation during the evening of 21 April regarding additional economic and social relief measures.

These measures form part of the national response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ramaphosa’s address flows from recent deliberations at Cabinet, the National Coronavirus Command Council, the President’s Coordinating Council and the National Economic Development and Labour Council among others.

The Presidency is expected to announce the time of the address during the course of the day.

The address will be broadcast on radio, television and streamed live.
