No parenting manual? No problem

FOURWAYS – Mothers from the Witkoppen Clinic support group come together to share and be strengthened by one another.

Sometimes parenting can make you feel like every day is your first day on the job. Just as you conquer one stage of your child’s life, they enter another one – leaving you wishing you had a parenting manual.

Well, there still is no manual but fortunately Cuddlers, Witkoppen Clinic, and the Fourways Review, under the banner of Caxton Cares, teamed up and created the next best thing… a support group for new moms.

These support sessions allow the mums to take relief in knowing there are other mums going through exactly the same, or at least similar, experiences. In these sessions, mums make invaluable connections with other mums, as well as experts who can help tackle parenting obstacles. Through the support sessions, mums can also share other family and personal challenges that parents encounter as their child grows.

Murray Booth, marketing executive at Cuddlers, is really proud to be giving back to a wonderful group of mothers.

“The mums of the support group are amazing women and we are only happy to be a part of their journey, and to help them as much as we can,” said Booth.
