Five impressive young people who have been featured in the Fourways Review

FOURWAYS – Throughout the year the Fourways Review has interviewed some impressive young people. We've highlighted just a few of them.

Throughout the year, the Fourways Review highlights impressive youngsters in our schools and neighbourhood pages. We rounded up a list of some of the impressive youngsters we’ve interviewed this year.

1. 16-year-old armed with medals

At just 16 years old, Asemahle Malotana is an award-winning dancer, model, singer and performer. After competing in the 2019 World Championships, where she received 21 medals, she was offered a scholarship to attend the New York Film Academy. Read more here:

2. Dreams live on

A 20-year-old man who developed a rare form of cancer had his leg removed in April. Despite his difficult circumstances he was determined to create awareness and help others.

3. Tee off to Japan

Kaiyuree Moodley represented South Africa during the Junior Golf World Cup in Japan in June. She also won the All Africa Junior Golf Challenge with her teammates Caitlyn Macnab and Kiera Floyd.

4. Young Fourways swimmer makes big waves

Fifteen-year-old Dieter Buissinne was selected to compete in the 2019 Swimming South Africa National Open Water Championships. Read more here:

5. You’re never too young to follow your passion

Five-year-old Nina Terashima is praised for her musical talent and performed at the Chamber Music Festival, despite being two years younger than the youngest entrants typically accepted to play in the festival.
