Fourways Mall management has confirmed an attempted robbery took place in the Food Court parkade at Fourways Mall this afternoon.
This is according to a post on the Fourways Mall Facebook page which reads, “Fourways Mall Centre Management can confirm there was an attempted robbery in our Food Court parkade at approximately 15:30 today. There were no shots fired, nor injuries at the time of the incident.”
This after there were some messages circulating on social media that a shooting incident had taken place.
According to the mall management, the mall’s security was working with police to investigate further.
“It remains a top priority to keep our shoppers, tenants and the public safe,” said the mall management in the post.
