Bryanston kids take on cross country

BRYANSTON – Young runners of Bryanston Primary School kept the pace and clinched four first places and four second places at this year's School Huddle Park Cross Country Series.

Bryanston Primary School showed their mettle and ended the season on a high this year, clinching four first places and four-second places overall against the other 13 schools in the four-week Inter School Huddle Park Cross Country Series.

The highly competitive event involved more than 500 runners and culminated in the finale on 2 September, where the top athletes who qualified for honours in the eight 13-year-old age groups were recognised and rewarded. Trophies were awarded to the top athlete in each age group and ribbons to the top five in each category.
