Riversands Farm Village was alive with excitement and incredible energy filled the air as the runners and riders headed out to the 32Gi start arch for the 10th Beaulieu Challenge MTB and Trail Run.

The event is an annual fundraiser that caters for two-year-old kids to adults and hosts a great array of distances for families and athletes to choose from.

The 2km, 5km, 10km, 25km and 45km mountain bike routes, as well as 3km, 6km and 12km trail run routes, were well-received. The trails took the participants through Riversands into the Greater Kyalami Conservancy and surrounds, with a total of 108km of trail marked.
