Protesters close the N14 and R114 with burning tyres
DIEPSLOOT– A protest action has erupted on the N14 and R114 roads and residents are urged to use alternative routes as both sides of the Krugersdorp highway are blocked.
DIEPSLOOT– A protest action has erupted on the N14 and R114 roads and residents are urged to use alternative routes as both sides of the Krugersdorp highway are blocked.
It is still not yet clear what the protest is about. The Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) and South African Police Department (SAPS) are at the scene accessing and controlling the situation.
JMPD Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said that he does not have enough information as he cannot get through to those at the scene.
