UPDATE: Power in Douglasdale to be restored this afternoon
DOUGLASDALE – Eskom has confirmed via social media that power is to be restored by 3.30pm today, 9 January.

Update – 12pm:
Khulu Phasiwe, national spokesperson for Eskom said, “Technicians are on-site to attend to multiple cable faults in the area. No estimated time of restoration at this stage.”
Initial report – 9 January, 10.49am:
Residents have taken to social media to report a power outage in the Douglasdale area since the early hours of this morning, 9 January. The Fourways Review is attempting to contact Eskom for more information, including a restoration time.
