Witkoppen Clinic reduces various fees

FOURWAYS – The Witkoppen Health and Welfare Centre announces a reduction of fees for patients.

The Witkoppen Health and Welfare Centre, located in Fourways, has announced a reduction in its fees.

The announcement was made by a press release distributed by the clinic to Fourways Review on 29 November.

“Notwithstanding the tough economic conditions, this decision is aimed at increasing access to quality healthcare services Witkoppen is renowned for,” the statement read in part.

The clinic announced the following changes to fees:

• From 19 November, patients coming to the clinic for the first time have been receiving services free of charge for their first visit, with subsequent visits only costing a R70 processing fee.

• Children under 18 years only pay a processing fee of R50

• Indigent patients who meet the standard means test will continue to receive service free of charge.

“All patients are encouraged to take advantage of the fee reduction and make their way to Witkoppen Clinic where they will receive professional, compassionate and high-quality services at a reduced fee.

“Services provided to communities include: HIV counselling and testing; TB screening and treatment; antenatal and postnatal care; family planning; orphan and vulnerable children care and support; management of chronic illnesses; mental health; dental care; emergency room; nutritional advice and support; dispensary, mobile clinic, medical male circumcision and male-friendly clinic services.”
