Fourways-based care project feeds 110 children

FOURWAYS – The Care Project, a non-profit organisation based in Fourways, fed local Grade 7s bodies and minds as part of their Coach a Child Programme.

JJ Zondi of the Fourways-based Care Project holds a number of loaves of bread which will feed hungry children. On 26 September as part of the organisation’s Coach a Child Programme, Zondi and other Care Project members fed and coached 110 local Grade 7s.

“Our aim this morning [was] to prepare learners for exams, as well as equip them for high school environment as they are about to cross over [into high school]. The majority of learners drop out in high schools, according to the statistics,” Zondi concluded.
