Lori Milner addresses a ladies networking meeting

FOURWAYS – The most recent ladies networking meeting at Hirsch's saw a visit from the 2016 Gauteng winner of the Margaret Hirsch Women in Business award, Lori Milner.

On 13 September Hirsch’s Fourways had a Ladies Networking Morning with the 2016 Gauteng winner of the Margaret Hirsch Women in Business award, Lori Milner, as the guest speaker.

“Not only is Lori an accomplished businesswoman, she’s also a published author,” said Sharron Dingle, public relations officer for the store. “She spoke candidly about how she got started and how she went about walking the route of owning every aspect of her life and not making excuses. She urged the audience to work on themselves as a brand as this is what creates credibility with customers.

“Lori went on to say that we should not wait for the “right time” because that is a fallacy, but rather schedule it. Be it personal time, which is vital to be sustainable and healthy in our life and business, or launching a new project. She said that we should not use the excuse of not having a website, make a start and work through with commitment and balance.”

The main thread of the presentation was to love yourself and be kind to yourself at the place you find yourself presently.
