Douglasdale CPF Sector 4 visit patrons at local shopping centre

In an effort to sensitise the community to the ongoing threat of crime, members of Douglasdale police and Community Policing Forum Sector 4 engaged with patrons at Leaping Frog Shopping Centre.

The police members raised awareness about several specific crimes threatening the sector. These included smash-and-grabs, theft out of motor vehicles, theft of motor vehicles, common robbery and robbery with a firearm which included driveway robberies.

The members handed out more than 500 pamphlets on crime tips and engaged with patrons sharing insights on who could become a victim of crime and ways of reducing such risks.
