TONIGHT: Massive showcase in support of the Sandton SPCA

The Sandton SPCA together with Johan Ungerer Signature Events will host the very first Annual Sandton SPCA Variety Showcase for 2018.

The not-to-be-missed production is in aid of Sandton SPCA’s biggest annual fundraiser The Kilimanjaro Challenge. The challenge gives adventure fundraisers the opportunity to climb for a cause, raising substantial funds for the charity, along with this spectacular production.

Headlining the 2018 Variety Showcase at Emperors Palace is Louise Carver, Armand Joubert, Beyond Vocal, Monique Steyn, KB, JD Engelbrecht, Joe Foster, Ryan Sharp, Isabella Jane and Rosie, Johan Anker, Carly Graeme, Kate Normington, Lynelle Kenned, David Louw and Helen Desbois.

Jean-Pierre van Wyk, public relations, marketing and fundraising for the SPCA said, “The showcase is linked in with our annual Kilimanjaro climb, to create brand awareness about the climb, which is open to the public and likeminded people to join climbing for a cause.”

The climb takes place from 8 to 16 September and there is usually a team of 25 supporters of mixed ages who enter from all parts of the world.

Van Wyk said the goal of the fundraiser is to raise funds so that the SPCA can give the best possible care to animals. “Through the Kilimanjaro campaign, we aim to have animal lovers unite and make a statement by supporting those climbing for a cause.”

The Variety Showcase takes place on 14 June and tickets are available at Computicket.
