Shooting leaves man seriously injured

A man was left seriously injured yesterday afternoon, April 15, following a shooting at a restaurant off Witkoppen Road.

ER24 said its paramedics arrived on the scene and found a man lying inside a restaurant. Following assessments, ER24 said the man had sustained a gunshot wound to his leg, leaving him in a serious condition.

The man was treated for his injuries and provided with pain-relief medication before being transported by ER24, under an advanced life support paramedic, to Life Fourways Hospital for further treatment.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
