Future City Fourways announces the launch of a new security compliance service

FOURWAYS – New security inspection and compliance service to be headed by Sean Mooney.

Future City Fourways (FCF) has announced the launch of a new security compliance service for the greater Fourways area and surrounds.

In a Facebook post, FCF said that it stands by the compliance and adherence that is required of private security in the community.

Future City Fourways further said that it acknowledges that stipulated regulations which govern security service provision as outlined by Private Security Regulatory Authority (Psira), but that they should be made more understandable, and assistance should be given to those who are not familiar with these issues.

“There are a few detractors in communities who make use of allegations of non-compliance and various reporting of alleged infringements to mask their alternate agendas. Instead of building communities they use compliance as their tool for reasons such regulations were never intended to be used for,” said Future City Fourways.

Future City Fourways said that a new privately run security inspection and compliance service will be made available to all homeowners’ associations, body corporates, residents’ associations, gated communities as well as commercial and private property owners in the Fourways area.

Sean Mooney, a renowned and highly respected security service operator, will head the service.

The service will be independent of any security company and has already been registered with Psira with which it will closely work. Future City Fourways said the main aim is to provide reports from inspections so as to make compliance easier and effective.

“There is hope for those struggling with by-laws, security, and municipal requirements. We are committed to building cohesive, compliant and happy communities, so let’s all work together,” said Future City Fourways.
