Summit College matrics who wrote their IEB national senior certificate exams have once again achieved a 100 per cent pass rate with 87,50 per cent of them achieving a bachelor degree pass. The principal of the school, Angela Barnard said, “I am extremely proud of the 2017 matric class and wish them all the success in their future endeavours.”
The school’s top achievers were:

- Matthew Zackey – four distinctions
- Paula Haltmann – four distinctions
- Rebecca Körner – three distinctions
