Hard worker recognised at Fourways domestic workers workshop
FOURWAYS – The Domestic of the Month for October has been selected at Hirsch's Fourways.
The domestic of the month was recently announced at Hirsch’s Fourways domestic workers workshop.
“The whole morning was a lively affair with a lot of input and questions. We also had the privilege of presenting Josephine Mazibanhanga with her prize and certificate as the domestic of the month,” said Sharron Dingle, Hirsch’s Fourways public relations officer.
Rosemary Meki from Meki Carers gave attendees an introduction on home caring.
A cooking demonstration was also held with a South African favourite demonstrated – Babotie was on the menu.
To end off the morning, Adele Guthrie from Meet Your Maid gave a demonstration on the correct setting for a table.
Guthrie also provided advice on the right way to serve coffee and tea.
“We run this monthly competition and employers submit their motivation for this award.”
