Man loses his life in motorbike accident on Witkoppen Road
FOURWAYS – The accident happened between Montecasino and Fourways Mall on Witkoppen Road and traffic was affected.
According to the general manager of Emer-G-Med, Jurgen Kotze, a man was declared dead today between 4pm and 5pm on Witkoppen Road.
The man allegedly lost control of his motorbike and hit an unknown object. Kotze said that it is not possible to tell what he hit but it caused severe injuries.
When Emer-G-Med arrived on scene the man was still alive but soon succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead on scene.
“The JMPD [Johannesburg Metro Police Department] accident investigation unit will take over after a governmental biopsy is done and they will pay their respects to the family,” explained Kotze.
The accident happened between Montecasino and Fourways Mall on Witkoppen Road and traffic was affected.
