33-hour water outage to hit Joburg

A planned interruption will take place from 5 to 6 September at 5pm resulting in a 33-hour water outage.

Rand Water will be doing replacements and repairs.

Areas affected are as follows: 

  • Linden Reservoir 1
    Robindale Ext 1, Jacanlee, Cresta extensions 2, 3, 4, 5, Darrenwood, Aldarapark
  • Linden Reservoir 2
    Windsor, Robin Hills, Windsor Glen, Rand Parkextensions 4, 5, 6, Fontainebleau
  • Linden Tower
    Linden, Pine Park and Ext 1, Linden Extension
  • Kensington Reservoir Zone
    Bryanston Ext 5, Bryanston Ext 3, Beverly Gardens, Ferndale (all extensions), Strijdom Park, O Summit, Vandia Grove (all extensions)
  • Kensington Tower Zone
    Bryanbrink, Daniel Brinkpark, Bryanston Ext 5, Lyme Park Ext 3 and 4, Kensington B.

Rand water will be providing water tankers at the following locations:

  • Windsor corner, Beatrice Street and Dukes Avenue
  • Corner of Republic Road and Judges Avenue, Cresta
  • Corner of Cherry Street and Berg Road, Robindale
  • Corner of Abbot Road and Oak Avenue, Robindale
  • Corner of 8th Street and 3rd Street, Linden
  • Corner of First Avenue and Bramfisher Drive, Linden
  • Corner of Dalmeny Road and Gavin Avenue, Pine Park
  • Corner of 1st Street and St Michelle Avenue, Aldarapark
  • Corner of Winston Avenue and Valley Road, Robin Hill
