Do you want to do something pawsome for a local dog shelter which is trying to make a difference one furry friend at a time?

Animal Ark, the non-profit organisation that helps puppies, pregnant females and lost or abandoned dogs, will be hosting their Puppy Adoption Day on 1 July, and you are invited!

Come see some of the doggos who are looking for their new furever homes, and even if you’re not looking to add a new family member just yet, you can enjoy a fun-filled day at the Animal Ark headquarters in Chartwell.

The Pedigree Challenge, run by the well-known dog food company, will also be happening on the day, so remember to keep all your doggie food bags and bring them with you! “If people bring an old bag of dog food (full or empty), Pedigree will replace it with a brand-new Pedigree one,” explained Candice Eilertsen of Animal Ark.

As Animal Ark is a non-profit organisation, donations are what keep them running!

Details: Saturday, 1 July, 17 Howard Avenue, Millgate/Chartwell (near where the Lion Park used to be).
