Chamber supports local businesses

FOURWAYS – Read about how the private sector community Chamber of Commerce has been established in Fourways to encourage and support local business growth.

Fourways Community Chamber of Commerce has already established itself as an institution, within just six short weeks, in support of local businesses in the greater Fourways area.

Business owners and entrepreneurs flocked to the Eagles Nest Conference Venue, which is on the corner of William Nicol Drive and Leslie Road.

The guests got to enjoy daily business coffee club meetings, weekly business support workshops and the first monthly Meet and Greet, which drew a packed house.

Eagles Nest Owner, Jasper Cloete said, “The Fourways Chamber is unlike anything I have ever experienced in 40 years of business. The energy and buzz among local business owners meeting for the first time and now collaborating on a daily basis are incredible to witness.”

Present at the business owners’ meeting was Pastor Willem Lindeque of Dainfern who stated that he brought one of his youth leaders and she was just blown away by the energy and possibilities to create similar opportunities for local youth to meet, have fun and grow businesses that leave a legacy for generations.

The Fourways Chamber invites all businesses, organisations and schools to visit and explore how to maximise their skills, resources and people in a spirit of open collaboration and competition to stimulate and create a local social economic miracle.

Workshops run each Saturday from 8am to 12.30pm at the Eagles Nest Conference Centre.
