Sunninghill left in the dark
SUNNINGHILL - Residents were left without electricity earlier this evening after an explosion at the substation.
Hundreds of Sunninghill residents were left in darkness this evening, after an explosion at the Megawatt station in the area.
Local ward councillor, Candice James, said, “We lost the Megawatt park substation earlier this evening. Technicians responded and power will be restored soon. Residents informed me that they heard two loud bangs.”
