Pupils enjoy a week of fun at Sugar Bay Resort

LONEHILL – What did the Crawford College Lonehill pupils get up to on their latest trip? Read on to find out.

 

Grade 10 pupils of Crawford College Lonehill spent a week of fun and bonding at Sugar Bay Resort, situated on the north coast of KwaZulu-Natal.

The school tour took place from 16 to 20 January as 103 energetic pupils together with two of their teachers, Mrs van Rooyen and Mr Woodhouse [full names] who accompanied them on the tour.

The teachers said they enjoyed every moment of being at the first and only American-styled children’s summer camp in the country. The pupils participated in fun and exciting camp games such as Whose Line is it Anyway? Fear Factor and Minute-to-Win-it.

They were also given the opportunity to participate in more than 100 free-choice activities such as bungee-trampoline, arts and crafts, kayaking and rugby on the beach.

“We, at Sugar Bay loved having the pupils and educators of Crawford College Lonehill here with us. They were certainly a group of very enthusiastic pupils who thoroughly enjoyed the camp experience with us and our fantastic counsellors. We cannot wait to have you guys back at camp,” read a Sugar Bay Resort statement.
