Search for missing flood victim reaches Midrand

MIDRAND – The search for the three-year-old girl from Alex reached Midrand.

The search for the three-year-old missing girl from Alex  reached the Midrand area, with the Aquatic Rescue Unit continuing their search for the little girl in the Juskei River in Waterfall on 13 November.
Everlate Chauke was washed away by the floods last Wednesday.
Local Democratic Alliance councillor Annette Deppe said residents provided water and food to the search team during their mission, which yielded no positive results. “I prepared sandwiches while other residents also provided water for them. It was good to see people coming out to assist where they could,” Deppe said.
